From High Hopes to High Tech

Florida Hospital Waterman is home to Lake County’s most advanced technology for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer – including new Rapid Arc technology, which uses computer-generated images to plan and deliver more precise treatments. We are the first in Lake County to offer stereotactic radiosurgery, a nonsurgical, form of radiation therapy used to treat cancers of the brain, lung, as well as other types of cancer that require a high degree of precision. These advanced treatments often result in better tumor targeting and less damage to surrounding healthy tissue. And, it reduces treatment time. So you can get back to your life again. Located on the campus of Florida Hospital Waterman, patients at the Cancer Institute have immediate access to hospital services should the need arise.
